Role Overview – (Manchester & London)
The Junior Project Manager is a key role within the client services team of dentsuMcGarryBowen team. Reporting into the client Account Lead, they are the key point of content for our clients, and responsible for ensuring the smooth running of all our client projects.
They must have impeachable attention to detail, be extremely organised and be able to hold a responsible relationship with our clients.
As briefs for work is provided through our briefing system, it will be the Junior Project Managers responsibility to liaise with the clients internal team to provide a quality output to our clients in a timely manner, ensuring that the brief is clear and provides the correct details to ensure the work is produced correctly.
As part of a larger team of other Junior PMs and the full client account team, you will forge a string of working relationships based on trust and integrity to ensure we provide a fantastic service to our client as a joint team.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and build the client relationship at a day-to-day level, by working closely with clients and understanding their requirements and needs.
- Check and validate clients briefs by checking the detail provided and liaise with client via phone call to check the content of the brief and correct any errors and add missing detail.
- Trigger live projects into the system once brief is clear and confirmed ensuring that the studio team have all the details, assets and support details needed.
- Track the project through the system so you are able to monitor delivery timescales and flag any challenges here with your client contact or also with the studio team.
- Once work is complete, proof read the content thoroughly, check the work has been produced correctly against the original client brief.
- Be aware of upcoming work from client business by having regular conversations with your client team to know where support might be needed.
- Build, manage and maintain the project cost estimates associated with the work.
- Support senior client services team in development of reports and commercial analysis for client quarterly review meetings.
- Be a champion of the client brand guidelines, ensuring that all production teams are using the correct fonts, brand colours, assets etc and checking that all work complies with these guidelines at all times.
- Take an interest in supporting the agency’s cultural community.
