We’re looking for a Social Media Content Creator to join our Marketing Team!

The Opportunity

Block Labs is looking for a creative Content Creator to work with our Marketing team to create TikToks, Instagram reels, and other related social media content including camera facing on a daily basis. The material will include advertising our products, informing the audience about recent milestones, events, and promotions, as well as shooting behind the scenes of the business.

Your Mission

• Develop new, creative, and highly engaging video content to grow our audiences on various social media platforms including TikTok and Instagram.
• Editing compelling multi-platform content with a heavy emphasis on storyline and character.
• Create and edit long to short content for our brands.
• Engage with our audience and other creators from the brand’s voice.
• Keep up to date with the latest TikTok and new platform trends, and share learnings.
• Participate in regular content brainstorms.
• Collaborate with various teams at Block Labs to ensure that content is on brand.
• Monitoring and sharing reporting of TikTok and Reels KPIs and metrics on a weekly basis.
• Engage with the TikTok community in a way that is on-brand.
  

What will you bring to Block Labs?

• 1+ years of experience in a creative field
• Experience as a Videographer / Editor with the understanding of multiple social media platforms; Facebook, TikTok, Instagram and Youtube.
• Experience being on camera and presenting.
• Capable of working on numerous tasks at the same time.
• A self-starter who is very creative and can plan and organise their own tasks.
• Deep understanding of social media ecosystem: trends, hashtags, music usage, functionalities, guidelines, and platform updates
• Superior verbal, written, copy editing and proofreading skills
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced business environment while working effectively and collaboratively with team members
• Must be willing to travel if needed.
