The Role

The Digital Content Creator will work alongside the Marketing Manager and design team, and will:

• Create engaging content for social media platforms, websites, blogs and emails
• Content will lean heavily towards video and photographic imagery, with some copywriting abilities required for short form copy mainly
• Projects may include video or still photography of developments, interviews with residents, business owners, and students; Property development projects will be across residential, commercial, mixed use;
• Creation of content to inspire and engage students and businesses with the not-for-profit organisation and it’s ongoing projects
• Monitor and report on the performance of social channels and activity

The Person

This role may suit someone already in a Digital Content Creator capacity or roles such as Social media Content Creator, Content Specialist, Marketing Content Specialist or potentially Social Media Executive; Alternatively Junior Videographers with experience in creating for Marketing activity could be suitable. The ideal candidate should come with:

• Experience creating content for, posting, and monitoring the likes of Instagram, Linkedin, TikTok, Facebook
• Experience creating video footage (typically with an iPhone and a gimbal – bigger projects would utilise a dedicated video co), and doing basic editing
• Ability to take visually interesting photographic imagery for social, using photoshop or similar to do basic edits and prepare for social posting and digital upload
• Solid ability with the written word, typically for short form social copy and similar
• Must be happy to occasionally travel with work (eg to development projects to create content) sometimes being away for a few days at a time.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
