About the job
WRG are looking for people who are passionate about starting a career in experiences to join our paid 12 month internship, Year ONE.
Interns will rotate through WRG’s specialisms, spending time working on event production and logistics as well as exhibitions and congress.
This is an entry level role, no previous experience or knowledge of the industry is required.
As part of the Year ONE programme, interns will be based at one of our core WRG offices. In the UK we’re based in London or Manchester however we fully embrace flexible working therefore we set-up interns with equipment to allow them to work from home one or two days a week.
During the internship there will be the opportunity to travel, as 80% of our work is international. So far, the 2022/23 interns have already completed 8 international trips some of which you can read about on our website.

What will interns be doing?
This is a diverse, demanding and exciting role that will challenge and reward interns daily, working alongside some of the most talented people in the industry – Creatives, Designers and Producers.
Day to day interns can expect to be doing some of the following:
- Providing creative input into client proposals
- Assisting with project management including tasks such as writing meeting agendas and contact reports
- Updating project documents such as schedules, budgets and attendee lists
- Liaising with suppliers
- Research for venues, furniture, speakers, entertainment and gifts
- Travel planning for teams
- Supporting the teams in on-site delivery

Stage 2 – May 2022
An informal introductory chat with one of the WRG Senior team, we call these “Chemistry Calls” as we’ll be trying to gauge how you might fit in at the agency.
Stage 3 – June 2022
The final stage will be an assessment day at one of our offices. This will include face-to-face interviews, a group exercise, and aptitude tests.
Year ONE internship offers will be made ahead of an August start date.
