About the job:
We are looking for a junior designer someone who can produce outstanding visual design and work across a number of different platforms and various disciplines. This is an entry-level position so previous design experience is not necessary but creative flair and a great-looking portfolio showcasing creative skills essential.
The key role of the junior designer will be to provide creative support for Dentsu Aegis Network UK Operating Companies, primarily assisting in new business pitches and working with senior designers, responsible for the creation of internal/external marketing materials. There will also be the opportunity to help on external client projects – a great chance to work across a broad spectrum of creative output from offline print design & digital to storyboarding for animation.
Responsibilities:
• Provide creative assistance for New Business Pitches
• Work along side senior designers to create bespoke client presentations and provide design support to client teams
• Assist in video production and photography
• Design and creation of mood boards and concept mock-ups
• Artwork, final designs and prepare for print
• Basic knowledge of the media industry
Skills and Experience:
• Good knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign
• Premiere and After Effects skills are beneficial but not necessary
• Strong visual design skills and an excellent portfolio demonstrating these skills
• Understanding of branding, brand design and marketing
• Enthusiasm and passion for design in specific design for print such as marketing DM material, conference brochures and other corporate literature
• Photography skills desirable
• Existing experience working in pitch environment would be beneficial
• Confident presentation skills and ability to present ideas with clarity
• Animation and drawing skills would be considered favorably
• Knowledge of HTML5 and CSS beneficial but not necessary
