Nadine Merabi is currently recruiting a retoucher to join the Creative team at our Manchester Head Office.Reporting to the Head of Creative, you will provide digital post-production retouching for all imagery for Nadine Merabi including campaign and social imagery and ecommerce imagery for the Nadine Merabi website.You will be responsible for retouching high volumes of images each day, ensuring a high-quality finish.This is an exciting role for a retoucher with experience, preferably gained in an ecommerce fashion environment.Responsibilities
- Retouching of imagery in line with the guidelines and creative requirements of the business in preparation of upload to our ecommerce site and other channels.
- Ensuring accurate colour correction of imagery against product or digital swatches
- Maintaining the studio asset folder.
- Manage workload; maintaining and ensuring all daily volumes, deadlines and deliverables are met.
- Where appropriate, attending pre-shoot meetings to agree strategy to ensure output meets the business requirements.
- Accurately follow detailed retouching notes provided by our Creative Director and Head of Creative.
- Retouching studio photos, as well as lifestyle, flat-lay, garments and model imagery.
- Ensuring a consistency within imagery, focusing on delivering to agreed quality expectations
- Show initiative and make recommendations to constantly improve the product imagery.
- Understand ecommerce photography best practice and ensure Merabi’s imagery is best in class and fit for purpose, maximising customer conversion.
About You
- Adobe Photoshop experience, preferably in a commercial environment
- Solid technical understanding of PC/MAC and Adobe Photoshop
- Knowledge / ability with ghost mannequin photography.
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Able to colour correct imagery when required
- Able to take creative direction
- Have an understanding of the requirements and pace of ecommerce imagery
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to set priorities, multi- task and meet deadlines
- Strong engagement and communication skills
- Can-do attitude
- Able to hit the ground running and join a high output creative team.
