The Timetabling & Examinations team is a busy team whose core focus and responsibility is the management and delivery of the academic timetable and the arrangement and co-ordination of examinations for the University.
Alongside business as usual, we have initiated a 3-year strategic improvement plan to improve and enhance the timetable product for our staff and students and the university is making a considerable investment to expand the team to deliver on this important work, providing several opportunities for exceptional candidates who thrive in a changing, fast-paced environment and want to be part of this exciting venture.
We are looking to recruit a Timetabling Assistant on a 3-year fixed term contract. The post will be supporting both the business-as-usual work with opportunities to also support project/continuous improvement activity.
So, what will the role involve?

You will be working in collaboration with the Timetabling Officers to assess teaching requirements for programme areas and identify solutions to effectively schedule activity to product a high-quality timetable. You will also be providing an excellent customer focussed front line service to our staff and students, being responsible for meeting service standards for resolving email and telephone queries.
We are looking for motivated team players with strong customer service skills, focussed on providing an excellent student experience.
