Salary: £1,250 per month

The Mills are now looking for a paid intern four days a week who wants to help grow their revenue base and the audience for their journalism so that they are able to expand their team and take on more important stories in 2023. The intern will be someone who appreciates the work we do and relishes the challenge of driving growth within a startup company. They will be available to start in late October/early November and to work until Christmas, with a possibility of further work or a full-time job in 2023. They will be joining our team of four.

Key responsibilities of the role:

• Driving revenue growth by devising new marketing ideas for selling subscriptions and sponsorships.
• Implementing those ideas with energy and precision, including plenty of time setting up sales meetings, editing marketing messages and trying social media campaigns.
• Taking responsibility for our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram ads, including monitoring the data and making new ads.
• Helping with some of the company’s admin and finance tasks.
