Back 2 Work Group was awarded funding by Greater Manchester Combined Authority to deliver bespoke Skills Bootcamps in the city-region, which form part of the Government’s Lifetime Skills Guarantee, helping everyone gain skills for life.

They are fully-funded, flexible courses for adults aged 19+ who are either in work or recently unemployed. Skills Bootcamps are designed to help you develop the digital skills that are in demand with top employers.

The B2W Group is delivering Skills Bootcamps in partnership with, sector experts Just IT. Bootcamp offers include Software Development, IT Technician and Data Analyst as part of a government initiative to tackle skills gaps across the country. They give employees the opportunity to gain skills to support their progression within their existing workplace and self-employed individuals the skills to gain new business opportunities. For those out of work, Skills Bootcamps build up sector-specific skills and offer a fast track to a guaranteed interview.

SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT

The programme is designed to build your technical knowledge and hands-on skills which are needed to start your career as a Software Developer.

This course includes;

– System Development lifecycle & Methodologies.

– HTML/ JavaScript / CSS.

– Database Design.

– Python.

Learners can attend 5 sessions a week of facilitated workshop training, and will develop a portfolio to showcase their skills learnt. Our business coaches will support with weekly online sessions, and our Career Support team will help you to develop your employability skills.
